CONDENSERS BATTERIES
The power plants introduce additional fees for losses caused by reactive energy transmission. In practice, this applies to medium and large electricity consumers with metering systems for active and reactive energy, who have an acceptable level of power factor specified in their contracts. The condensators batteries are used to compensate for reactive power, which eliminates additional payments for reactive energy. The batteries also reduce the load on electrical equipment and cabling.
